Purpose:
To sell the complete line of polyethylene flexible packaging to meet or exceed the annual sales plan. Manage sales activities of customers, brokers and distributors including existing customers and identification of and selling to new customers. Support customer service team in meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations.
Sales Scope:
Local, Regional and National sales. Travel could be required up to 60% of the year.
Duties:
- Meet or exceed the sales and profit plan for the assigned division working for the benefit of the company.
- Maintain and grow sales year over year based on management expectations.
- Responsible for developing sales strategies and capitalizing on them.
- Developing relationships and follow-up with prospects.
- Develop and implement a sales forecast for each assigned customer/broker/distributor.
- Responsible for managing daily account activities, receivables, and aged inventory.
- Resolve customer service and quality issues to the satisfaction of the customer in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Independently able to identify sales growth opportunities.
- Willingness to Develop Cold-Calls and grow them into Leads.
- Work in a cooperative and professional manner with all departments always.
- Represent the company at trade shows and trade association meetings.
- Assist and provide pricing, terms of sale, and contract negotiations with customers.
- Implement and generate the required sales and call reports.
- Maintain an open line of communication using all tools available.
- Ensure effective relationships with all customers, brokers, and distributors; provide leadership, guidance, support, and implementation of procedures.
- Accept additional duties as defined by the VP of Sales or the Director of Sales

Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) required.
- Minimum of 2 years selling experience
- Flexible packaging industry or other manufacturing experience is preferred.
